Exterior
One of the most noticeable things about this Wisconsin barndominium is the paint color. The wonderful black and natural wood trim provides such a unique, beautiful look for this home. It is the use of these bold colors that makes this home stand out. We also love the natural wood look of the garage doors and how they act as accent pieces for the home and the exterior facade.
We love the way the colors of this Wisconsin barndominium make it stand out against the surrounding landscape. This is one of the things that isn’t often thought about when designing a home and we love that Pinno Buildings has taken this into consideration when putting this barndominium together. The way the home sits on the property looks absolutely beautiful and it cuts an amazing profile against the Wisconsin sky.
One of the things this Wisconsin barndominium does incredibly well is make use of windows. As you can see, the large picture windows that adorn the far end of this home create such a beautiful, modern look that is perfect for the colors and textures of the exterior. We also love the small detail of the natural wood braces at the top of the roof. It creates a great place for the eye to be drawn and it showcases the size of the home.
Interior
Living Area
The interior of this Wisconsin barndominium is so stunningly modern and minimalistic but it has so much going for it that it doesn’t feel cold or sparse. One of the first things you might notice is the sliding garage door that sits to the side of this small entrance space. This creates such a wonderfully modern, industrial feel and is a great little feature. Instead of being something that sticks out too much, the hardware creates its own style and is so wonderfully integrated with the rest of the home.
The actual living area of this Wisconsin barndominium is one of the most incredible we have ever seen. The soft, light colors of the materials make for such a beautifully relaxing space and creates that airy feel that can be so important if you are looking for a space that will bring you some inner peace and tranquility. We also absolutely love the fireplace and chimney which is perfect for those cold Wisconsin mornings.
The living area is also where we start to see just how crucial those large windows are. Without them, this area would still be beautiful but it wouldn’t have the same connection to the outdoors that it has with them installed. We also love the way they are arranged to create an artful look that is both modern and minimal but also very classic. These windows make up most of the walls and it creates an almost greenhouse effect that makes you feel so in-tune with nature and the surrounding areas.
Kitchen
The kitchen in this Wisconsin barndominium is so beautifully sparse and wonderfully modern. This is where those white hues really start to pop and show just how important they are to this home’s overall look. We love the white kitchen island and the fact that it matches with the walls. There is a time and place for contrast and this kitchen does it so wonderfully. We also love the light fixtures above the island and the beautifully sparking glass enclosures.
When we say that it is important to use contrast wisely, the kitchen range hood is a perfect example of this. The bright copper sits starkly amongst the white of the walls and the countertops and becomes such a beautiful accent piece. It’s truly amazing how such a utilitarian and somewhat normal piece of equipment can become so essential to the look of a space just by choosing the right colors and textures.
Bedrooms
While the rest of this Wisconsin barndominium has beautiful hardwood flooring, the bedrooms are carpeted, which warms everything up. However, the vibe and aesthetic of the home continues and is especially apparent with the window arrays and the use of natural light. They also continue the use of the light hues and the bright colors which reflect that light and make the rooms incredibly welcoming.
Bathrooms
The bathroom in this Wisconsin barndominium takes modern contemporary and runs with it. We absolutely love the polished concrete flooring in this bathroom and the way the cabinets utilize dark natural woods to provide that beautiful contrast. The modern bathtub is also absolutely adorable and fits in with the look of the home and this room specifically so nicely.
