We are checking out the Selph’s 3-bedroom Georgia barndominium as today’s featured home! The barndominium features approximately 1,900 square feet of living area as well as a large attached shop. With tons of space for work and plan, this Georgia barndominium caters perfectly to the Selph’s needs!
Exterior
The exterior of Selph’s Georgia barndominium is a neutral, vertical siding that is matched with a low-sloped roof. There is a large overhang that provides a patio area that can be used for a multitude of purposes. From BBQing to having outdoor covered space for projects, the theme of this Georgia barndominium implies function!
The shop area is accessible by way of two large bay doors. We can see there is a small outdoor sitting area set up under the covered patio area, and with all the privacy offered by the surrounding forestry, it makes it a perfect area to enjoy a meal or drink!
As mentioned before, this Georgia barndominium is also extremely functional. The covered area is large enough to comfortably park a vehicle or two, and still leave tons of leftover space! With overhead lighting and an installed fan, this expansive outdoor area is most likely a popular spot to enjoy the outdoors while staying in the shade during a beautiful Georgia summer day.
Interior
Making our way indoors, we can see the cozy and welcoming living space! The main living area is bright and open, with light walls and an exposed center beam which helps keep the space from looking cramped. The stone fireplace acts as the room’s focal point thanks to the stark contrast between the natural stone and crisp shiplap, and the built-in TV and floating side shelves provide practicality.
Plenty of room is offered in the main area, and a spacious sectional ensures everyone has space to cozy up next to the fireplace. The gleaming hardwood floors match nicely with the light and airiness of the rest of the room.
While the Selph’s Georgia barndominium does feature 3 bedrooms, our tour just has us peaking at one found in the home. As expected, the room matches the rest of the home’s color scheme and is spacious enough to fit all the necessary furniture and toys!
Even though we don’t have pictures of the remaining two bedrooms in this Georgia barndominium, if the rest of the house is an indicator, they are undoubtedly bright and spacious!
The bathroom is clean and well-lit and features a separate shower room tucked around the corner. There is plenty of storage, and we can see the colorfully tiled shower room is large and practical for a busy family.
The walk-in closet is another necessity! This Georgia barndominium features plenty of space to hang clothes, store accessories, and much more.
A portion of the attached shop is finished and features a weathered bar area and of course, the perfect decor pieces. Clean and bright, this part of the shop acts as additional living space for the Selph family! Whether it’s hanging out while someone is working on a project or catching up with friends and family that stop by, we don’t doubt this area of the shop has heard its fair share of laughter!
