Exterior
One of the first things you might notice about this Texas barndominium is its excellent use of color. It makes great use of muted earth tones which really set it apart from its beautiful surroundings. This is a very important consideration when building a home and the designers at HL Custom Homes have done a wonderful job when it comes to the color choice.
We also love the simplicity of the window arrays that adorn the front facade of this Texas barndominium. It makes the exterior look incredibly inviting and brings a nice, open feel to the entire home. This, combined with the stone trim that runs along the bottom of the siding creates that charming look that is so apparent here and so nicely done.
The porch is another aspect that creates the whole look and feel of the outside of the home. With pillars that have the same stone bases that go around the perimeter of the home, this is an excellent example of a designer using different materials and different textures to create an amazing, cohesive look throughout the entire home. Plus, the ceiling fan on the porch awning is an excellent, practical addition that will make sitting out on the porch during the hot summer nights the thing to do at this Texas barndominium.
This Texas barndominium also features a covered parking area that is big enough to protect all kinds of vehicles. Whether you have recreational vehicles that you want to keep covered or if you just want a little bit of extra covered gathering space, this is an excellent addition that is incredibly simple to add on.
Interior
Living Area
Just like with the exterior, the interior of this Texas barndominium is incredibly tastefully done and has an excellent use of bold features and small details. We absolutely love the corner fireplace, for example. This is not a configuration that you see often and it is such a nice change from the usual placement right in the middle of one side of the living area. Not only does it pull focus to this corner of the room, it also creates more space in the rest of the area.
The use of color and texture in the living room is also top-notch. The hardwood floors are absolutely beautiful and match the large beam that runs along the ceiling. On top of that, the natural wood fan over the middle is a great touch and probably provides some great air circulation in this Texas barndominium.
Kitchen
While this whole Texas barndominium is incredibly well-designed and put together, the kitchen is one of the most beautiful areas. We love the combination of colors and textures and how everything works together in perfect harmony to create something that is very unique and still very comfortable. The tile backsplash combined with the marble print countertop is an excellent counterpoint and gives the whole kitchen a fantastic depth.
We also love the modern, industrial appliances in the kitchen of this Texas barndominium. The stainless steel refrigerator and the professional-grade range are excellent touches and make this kitchen not only very attractive but also functional. Plus, the range hood that is designed to match the cupboards is a wonderful touch.
Bedrooms
The bedrooms in this Texas barndominium are very simple but also have the same tasteful touches as the rest of the home. We absolutely love the barn doors and how they not only provide a little bit of a different texture but also a pop of natural color to the design of the rooms. All of this is tied together with more of that wonderful hardwood flooring from the rest of the home.
One of the things this Texas barndominium has an abundance of is windows for natural light. We love how the designers of this home considered everything when it comes to how the home feels instead of just how it looks. The airy paint and the windows make for a wonderfully warm and comforting aesthetic that we think is absolutely fantastic.
Bathroom
The bathroom in this Texas barndominium is one of the most beautiful we have seen in a while. We just love the brick print tile in the shower which works so wonderfully as an accent piece and pulls the focus, making for a great, pleasing effect. We also love the countertop which mirrors the one on the kitchen island and works so well here.
