How Does Having Custom Barndominium Plans Designed Work?
Ready to get started? We will start by connecting through email or a free discovery phone call. This is where you’ll have the opportunity to share your ideas, inspirations, and specific needs for your Barndominium. This is your chance to tell us all your ideas, hand-drawn sketches, example plans, and all your wishes and dreams. After we’ve gathered all the necessary details and you are ready to move forward, we will send over an invoice. Once paid, we will get started right away designing your barndominium.
Once you are ready, we get to work designing your barndominium where we turn your dreams into a reality. You will then typically receive your first draft of your barndominium house plans within a week or two.
You will then review the plans and share your feedback with our designers. We will then finetune the plans further based on your feedback.
After we receive feedback on the concept plan, we will deliver what we call 90% drawing sets, which means that almost the entire plan is complete and ready for you. This is one of the most important steps in the planning process because it is your final chance to give comments and feedback on the plans. Once you give the okay on the 90% plans, we will finalize your plans.
Once the designs are approved at the 90% completion stage, we will finalize the drawings. Once finished, we will email you your detailed barndominium house plans that include the following that are ready for engineering and permits.
